SCEA’s Anton Mikhailov has said that PlayStation Move is so precise, you can use it to play StarCraft on your PC. With a little bit of hackery of course.

"Actually I hooked up this device through some hackery to a PC to play a bunch of games," Mikhailov recently told Digital Foundry. "I actually played StarCraft… I could actually play, not just screw around but play. It's a testament to how robust this interface is for even the more hardcore game."

Mikhailov also said that the precision controls exhibited by Move will bring more genres "typically detached" from console gaming like RTS titles.

"All those genres require precise pointer control. This is something we have now on the PS3."

Now I'm waiting to see all the different uses modders find for Move.

I want to see Blizzard porting SC2 for the PS3... Hopefully it won't fail like the N64 version of SC...

I'm all about motion control..as long as it works. I really want to try Tony Hawk's ride, but I hear that it sucks, and I don't want to waste money on it if it does.
I hope the PS Move is more promising.

yeah exactly the Move is very very accurate.

While Project Natal looks great right now, it is missing something for hardcore gamers.
It's not that accurate enough to track fingers...for the ones who want things go fast as pulling the trigger.

Although I know Microsoft is still gonna market it as controller free

But I wanna say this because I know its coming.. and u can check back on my comment when it really happens.

I think that at some point they will release a mini 360 wireless controller that can be held in one hand.

It won't have motion sensing just like the Move Subcontroller. And possibly u can use one for each hand.

I'm sorry but how could you know that? Do you already have a working version at home? Thought so.

I'm pretty sure that Microsoft has said that it can not track finger movement.

On the other hand, all of these devices are making my realize just how genius that Power Glove really was. I smell a remake.

If you look at the tech demos they have demonstrated so far their technology has issues. MOVE is so precise that you can easily draw things as well. I'm sure after a few uses here and there MOVE will be really easy to use.

NATAL has delayed response, you can see that on tech demos Microsoft showed.

Quote "Have you ever wondered how the shoes look like under your avatar? Well now you can. BAM! There it is" While the avatar has jerky movements.

When the girl is trying to hit the balls she misses like more than half of the balls because it has delayed response.

I might be wrong and Microsoft might work on it to make it more precise but we'll have to wait and see.

Move on the other hand seems really fluid and easy to use. We'll also have to wait and see for that one.

Wiimote Plus was a good add on but...still issues.

yes, it defiantly can sense easily that your fingers are moving but it can't track exactly their movement... .

From what I understand natal works by tracking gross movement of the body by defining up to 48 skeletal points for each person.

Do you know that in your hand and for the fingers alone there are 14 joints?...hell they are small and near each other to track accurately. And they are fast compared to large muscle even predictions algorithms will fail to track phalanges.

Unless you put your hand relatively near the camera to be proportionally big enough to track it well... but it will loose the ability track the full body by doing so .. simply it will be out of view.

If u really think that gonna work it then they need to make a special stand for it like (Eye of judgment) , put it on table then start playing with your fingers in air for hardcore games.
Yay imaginary 360 controller :o

And u might want to read this about a canceled Natal Game:-

Afrit == Superior & Intelligent form of Genies. (e.g. Genie in Aladdin)

Genie == Genius

:P

Ok, The real thing..I like "Ifrit" in final fantasy series -and most of the J-RPG's-, but usually the name is already token.

Now it is more unique.

But your name is more descriptive.is it true?

thing is, I actually agree with you, too. I just wanted to point out that we still have to wait for the final version before we can judge it objective.

RTS and FPS on the ps3? Niiiiice. =D I hope Blizzard will do a Diablo 3 and a Starcraft 2 PS3 port for us to try it good. (My PC is too old for those games to play at hight... or even at medium... and playing at "very low" is NOT COOL).

Ain't happening, buy a better system...

Even my 5 year old system can play Starcraft 2 on high settings.

Does it light up and make noises? Seems to be the most enjoyment that will come. Keep it for the FUTURE, like when we are all dead including the idiot who thought of this idea. Untill you can't disquish virtual from reality....this is nothing more than trash food, no Wii like phenomenon will come with this...die already. Let's make better games, how about that?...alittle to much thinking outside the box, but than again it's a PS3 after all.
