The console versions of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) have been plagued by delays. Developer Ascaron Entertainment seems to have finally gotten everything in order for the game's May 12 release, but they had to pay a price for it.
According to GameSpot, the Germany-based developer has gone bankrupt after working on Sacred 2 for four delay-filled years. The dev is currently in talks with "several well-known interested parties to discuss a positive takeover."
Be that as it may, Ascaron says that their bankruptcy filing will not affect Sacred 2's launch date. The company also revealed that they are now working on a follow-up, Sacred 3, as well as an expansion for Sacred 2's PC version.

2 - It's no wonder they went broke! They spent forever making a sequel to a generic hack/slash that didn't do all that well and gave us the exact same thing, a generic hack/slash that seems to be drumming up very little hype.

It's weird to see people like "****bandit" being happy to see these all these people out of a job. These are hard times and nobody should be cheering that some honest hard working people are going to have a hard time paying their bills.

Yeah so why does every american RPG use uber bland graphics and super crap animations? And why such typical dialogue and story, along with poorly detailed characters? Lazy much,no talent? Ah I better run! My nerd radar is going nuts as we speak!!

How can someone who never played the game be wrong? I mean he saw the trailers! Well looks like mommy won't be buying him this game.
Maybe he pushed the Q-tip a little too far!

You don't like the game, fine. Don't like it, don't buy it.
But to come here and insult the devs (who don't give a s.h.i.t. about your opinion anyway) is REALLY low. What kind of nerd you must be to constanstly post comments on a game you neither own nor like?
You must be the second-coolest person on the internet, only beaten by melty.
