Sackboy toy shortages explained by Sony |

Unfortunately, the much awaited Sackboys won't be arriving on time. It appears that there's a little production problem that Sony's encountering now, and so the toys won't be available for the shipping of the pre-ordered LittleBigPlanet copies.Not to worry though. It's not true that the problems are abut copyright issues. In fact, the delay isn't even that much as the toys are expected to arrive either at or just after the game's October 24th launch.
So in the meantime, retailers will be offering t-shirts to those who pre-ordered the game. We know, it's in no way the same as getting the Sackboy, but just be patient, they'll be on their way soon enough.

I would want one of those instead of the sackboy doll. So they are now saying they will give you the shirt and then the doll later? Sounds like a deal to me.
I hope they're not just giving us a t-shirt as a replacement & no sackboy at all.... I want a Sackboy to go among my collection of gaming models 'n such...
At least you PS3 people are only getting one pre-order bonus delayed. As you may know half of the Fable II Limited Edition bonus items have been canceled outright.
At least one company knows how not to totally shaft their loyal customers.

So let me get this straight. If you pre-ordered LittleBigPlanet (i did at my EB) you get a T-shirt and a Sackboy later?

Or is it Europe only?
Regional exclusives are confusing. I haven't been able to find an American retailer advertising sackboy plushies.
