Media Molecule has made a trio of announcements today pertaining to the ever-evolving LittleBigPlanet universe. This includes a brand new spin-off of the franchise, a little something about the LittleBigPlanet 2 demo and the upcoming beta trail.

First on the list is Sackboy’s Prehistoric Moves, a standalone spin-off title coming to PSN next month that showcases "all of the fun that can be had when Sackboy gets his hands on the PlayStation Move motion controller. Sackboy’s Prehistoric Moves contains a brand new 10 level theme dominated by dinosaurs, where the Evil Big Rex is king. Throughout your mission you must take on challenges engineered by Terrance Dactyl – and you’re going to some need help, so put on your bear skins and grab up to four friends to navigate the tough terrain of the tropical jungle dodging erupting volcanoes and other environmental hazards standing in your way."

The Move-capable title will be available first for all PlayStation Plus subscribers on the 7th of December for free as Media Molecule extra "thank you" to thousands of LittleBigPlanet supporters. It will then land on the PlayStation Store on December 14 for US$ 5.99.
