The post over at ARS Technica went for the fictional narrative over the usual give-it-to-me-straight format, featuring the writer and his shady-dealing Mole buddy. Whatever the case, the rumor should be confirmed by the end of next week, so we won't waste a lot of time guessing.
And in case you're wondering what this is doing on the PS3 blog...
At the end of the post, the Mole drops another bomb, as indicated by this excerpt from the post, "Before he leaves, he gives me an envelope. 'That one's about Sony,' he tells me. 'Open it over the weekend, I think you'll be very interested in the information.'"
Should be an interesting weekend.

You could find these games for a lot cheaper than 60 bucks so imo getting RE5 and SSFIIHD is better deal, only negative is the ugly red console

i've been playing 360 whole lot (i own the ps3) because a friend left it over my house. anyways with this bundle i might pick one up.
I thought $400 was too much money for anyone who buys a 360.
at first it seems great... but halo3 being as old as it is is cheap as hell in a eb/gamestop store and fable2 has prob sold so much it should be platnium hits by now.
Even if I wanted one (I don't. There's just nothing on it I want and I had enough troubles with my original Xbox) there's plenty cheaper ways to get the same exact items.

You know the basic Elite is $400 as well right? So this limited time bundle gives you Halo 3 and Fable 2 for free... Pretty sure you can't beat free
