Rumor: Warhawk getting an expansion pack for December?

There's a rumor in circulation that hints that Incognito Entertainment's Warhawk for the PlayStation 3 will be getting some major updates for the holidays. Based on what we're picking up, Game Informer Magazine's latest issue (the one fronted with Brutal Legend) contains the first details of an upcoming game expansion pack, scheduled for release this December.

The new Warhawk expansion pack will reportedly carry new vehicles, including a dropship that can airlift vehicles across the map, and can provide for heavy fire support thanks to its complement of missiles. Aside from the dropship, we're still unsure of what else this rumored Warhawk expansion will contain, such as whether it will carry more maps.

We note that if this rumor is true, we may be looking at Warhawk's very first game-expanding update (the previous were just for bug-fixing). Keep on the lookout for updates regarding this matter.

Hate childish people that want to look better behind a monitor.. well.. anyway

1. I was talking about the sony ranked servers... the blue ones.. that only can entrer 8 players... the ones with the start name SCCEsomething.. ok are many of them but the half isn in general rank, the others ones is in a low rank and I can't enter

2. Yes I own the game and quixand can tell you, and if u quickxand never saw me playing check the in game buddy list, I own it since day one.

3. Don't be so biatch behind a monitor spector, first you ask and then batch, don't look stupid to look more than me.

4. Sorry, I love this game but isn't so eye candy at all.

5. Maybe you quixand see the games half full but maybe because we play in different time zone so...

6. Yes, it can be played in a 32 players but in your own server depend of your bandwidth, like Lifeline says that is the only one that try to correct me without being some stupid fanboy...

Thats why sometimes I don't want even talk here.. like I said before.. I have the best of both worlds.. I have the ps3 and 360... and I want to be neutral but both side always angry if I said that I don't like something of each system because there are so fanboys in each side... if I don't like something I will say it... if I dislike something I will say it too.. not your opinion good, your opinion good too... but don't insult someone just for that...

But Blue Sony Ranked servers here in the US cater up to 32 players, and I see many with all levels of dedicated rankings available (some that only higher level ranked individuals can get in). Not only that, but quite a few of the gamer hosted servers here in the US are happily hosting 32 players with no lag.

Onto my personal opinion, the graphics for Warhawk on my HD monitor are absolutely stunning. I think this game looks gorgeous, considering its integration of both aerial and land based attacks.

Of course, it doesn't look as pretty as Halo 3's One Player Campaign, but then again, I think it's on par with Halo 3's multiplayer graphically! Just a comparison from my view, since you're not the only one who is console neutral! Best way to enjoy gaming is to have all the consoles! Hence my position!

i would confirm that Someone_PR indeed has a PS3 and the Warhawk game... he's on my buddy list and i even looked at his stats before and he sure do know Warhawk (and he speaks Spanish so that's a plus)...

that's why i didn't say anything about him misjudging the game...

regarding the server topic my region belongs to SCEE and i think there is an adequate server for my region, although SCEK and SCEJ doesn't have that many and their servers are always full (have always wanted to try out how Japanese people are at shooters since they don't like that genre too much and maybe jack up on my kills if they aren't really that interested in shooters but i haven't even gotten into a Jap or Korean server yet).

as for the graphics the details aren't Killzone-esque (which no games are yet) and it's not Heavenly Swordy but everytime i play on a packed server with a lot of people with their modified Warhawks zigzagging the skies and customized infantry going melee on each other (got into an almost 20-man brawl last night when Blue Team tried to take our flag) with vehicles to boot... the graphics are very good!!!

i'm also in the same boat as you... i can't get into servers which doesn't have "General" as the ranking cause my rank is Commander so i'm not allowed into lower rank servers just the General one which i think happens to be the top server so pretty much that makes all other ranked servers useless for me.

but Someone_PR i think there should be enough General servers there and if you want more you can always go to "filter" and take out the region restriction so when the list of servers come up you get to see all available servers from SCEA, SCEE, SCEJ, SCEK and i think you'll find it more than you can handle buddy

I've never seen a single 8 person limit on any of the sony servers. But then again I only play on the TDM servers, which are either 24 (medium maps) or 32 (large maps).

If you can't find bigger servers then try playing a different game type. As I said TDM has loads of big servers.

sorry for not making that clear.. in that, my bad... in TDM I know u can play with in a sony server of 32 players.. but I'm talking in deadmatch only... what I play almost everytime is in deadmatch... so... maybe a region thing who knows... but I put deadmatch only.. in everything else all.. and in the sony servers always for 8 players...

Yes, there are 8 player limits on ranked deathmatch games. There aren`t many of them either, and if you are wrongly ranked as Commander you can only get into half of those (if and when they are not full)

If I struck a nerve I'm sorry, you just seemed to go at the game from an unenlightened opinion from my point of view (and if you can't be snarky on the internet where can you be lol).

First off if you want ranked servers for you best bet is to change your server filter to "my rank" when I play I change my filter to that and Zones each time and get into a ranked 24 or 32 man game quickly.

Also (imo) the graphics are stylized and remind me of Crackdown in a way, but not completely. The lighting in the game I find well done and the level of detail on the character models damn awesome. Explosions also look fantastic. Biggest problem with judging the graphics on a stylized game is nothing to compare it to overall.

Anywho no hard feelings.
