Looks like Sony is still continuing their practice of putting out PS3 bundles in lieu of price cuts. According to Joystiq, a new PS3 bundle is reportedly being readied for a June 14 release by Walmart.

The bundle, which was revealed by "a friendly Walmart insider", includes an 80GB PS3, a copy of MLB 09: The Show and the Quantum of Solace Blu-ray release. The price tag for this bundle is still US$ 399. There's also no indication that this'll be a Walmart exclusive.

As for Sony, well, they still haven't confirmed anything.

350? You really would pickup a PS3 if it dropped only 50 dollars?

In spite of what they are charging for the PSPgo, which is a bit too much considering when technology shrinks in size, the price drops (unless its significantly tiny).

As many others have guessed, I am going to follow suit and say they will drop the current PS3's 4-500$ price to 3-400$ to get rid of the current stock. Then, release the PS3 slim alongside the phat.

Only I will take it a step further and say that the PS3phat will either stay at 400, or possibly drop to 300 for good. while the PS3slim will stay at 500$ and include PS2 hardware for backwards compatiblity. Or some other type of added/upgraded feature, just so they can keep it at that ridiculous price.
