Fans of Nathan Drake might find this little rumor update on Naughty Dog's Uncharted: Drake's Fortune quite interesting. Joystiq got hold of information saying that there's a chance that the game might very well have a movie adaptation. Interesting, don't you think? The company eyeing the cinematic rendition of the game is Atlas Entertainment. An unnamed source said that the movie rights to the game have been optioned for a potential movie adaptation of the game. An SCEA spokesperson responded to this rumor, saying that, "We have not made any announcements regarding movie options."
Other than that, there's pretty much nothing on the rumor. Still, we'll still keep you guys posted on the developments of this matter.

Why make a movie of it when you can play a just as entertaining game of it? This game is so good it is like a movie you control! I hope if they do make a movie of it, they do it CG like the game and with the same actors please! Uncharted: Drakes Fortune is one great game to experience. I hope for a great sequel soon.

My friend had to watch every save point i played, all because of it being so nice to watch.
All the acting was awesome. music was fitting. and gameplay was solid
Well, here's one good reason:
Not everyone likes video games or has a PS3.
Uncharted's CGI moments make it already alot like a movie, but im thinking Indiana Jones 4 looks surprising like an Uncharted lookalike.
i thought i already bought the uncharted movie, wait, what? your telling me that was a game? oh my god i remember now, it was a game that was so good it felt like a movie. so why make a movie adaptation of a near cinematic game?
i've seen that movie. it was called indiana jones.
Pretty cool though how the cut scenes are rendered in real time. They look almost as good as a multimillion dollar computer would for the big name studios! We're almost there though!
