Rumor: Trophies, playable Raiden in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots DLC |

With all of the rumors and teasers flying around about Kojima Productions' next project (as much as I want it to be, I have to bet that it's not Zone of the Enders 3), here's another one to add to the pile.
The word is that dear old Jack will return to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots as a playable character via DLC soon. The DLC will supposedly let players control him through two chapters, although whether or not these chapters will be totally new isn't known yet. The Raiden DLC is also rumored to include the long-awaited MGS4 Trophy patch.
Again, this is just a rumor guys. Until we hear anything official from Konami or KojiPro don't buy into it just yet. Stay tuned for more updates.

If they release some DLC I will totally buy it seeing as I only paid $25 for MGS 4 at my local blockbuster. It was an amazing game, and I need a good excuse to play it again. :)

now THIS would be awesome :D i doubt however it will be integrated into MGS4, i think it'll be more like a downloadable stand-alone game. but awsome none the less :P ..... and now i'm all hyped, and i get mad when it turns out it's not true... so i better secure all my consoles so i don't break them.. ...just in case
Sounds too real to be fake. I only played through MGS4 once. I loved it, but I didn't have much of a reason to go through it again. Some trophy whoring wouldn't be bad for this. It seems that rather than dong a MGS4: Subsistence Farming, they'll just do DLC. Makes sense.
a MGS4 Substance as DLC eh? I could deff go for that! Even if we've gotta pay for the extra stuff, I'm game.
i love mgs4...truly one of the greatest games of all time, if it gets trophies i wouldnt mind playing through it a bunch of more times either....and raiden tooo... omg omg omg
LOL PS3 Kombo is the same source which said Xbox 360 would get MGS4. This has already been denied by Konami: http://xbox360.qj.net/Kojima-Productions-It-s-not-an-Xbox-360-MGS4-it-s-something-else/pg/49/aid/131388 Why should it be credible NOW?
I would much rather them make Zone Of The Enders 3 already. I just played through Zone Of The Enders 2 again and man, that game is damn near perfection! I hope if they do 3, they make it 1080p and use up a 50GB disc. Anyone who has not played Zone Of The Enders: The Second Runner really should. It is a great entertaining story that will blow your mind how the potential of this genre can be!
Those VR Missions never got old. I was hooked since the PS1 VR Missions disc... Good times... :(
