Rumor: Star Ocean PS3 scanned? |

Le gasp! Is Star Ocean: The Last Hope losing its Xbox 360 exclusivity and getting a PS3 release after all? If this scan from Famitsu is legit, it looks like Star Ocean is following down the steps of Tales of Vesperia!
It's long been rumored and hoped for - a PS3 version of The Last Hope. And earlier this year, Square Enix insisted that it would remain an Xbox 360 exclusive - which puts this scan under the rumor tag. It isn't all that hard to photoshop the usual Famitsu info box and other elements together, y'know. We'll update you guys once we hear of any official confirmation.
Eitherway, if it holds true, this still spells good news for PS3 RPG enthusiasts. Let third-party game exclusivity remain a thing of the past. More games for more people is a good thing.

there are only three reasons for exclusivity:
1. The developer has been paid(or bribed, how you call it is up to you)
2. They must have VERY good relationship with either Sony, MS, or Ninty and it is guaranteed it will sell enough just on one console. (MGS4 for example)
3. Other consoles are simply not fitted for the game. (Either of hardware capabilities or userbase. it wouldn't make much sense to bring a Hanna Montana game to Xbox360 for example)

Just to throw it out there, the 360 box art of SO4 doesn't have the "only on xbox" tag. Nor does Last Remnant.

Oh and to repeat myself, I don't like American RPGs because for one, they look uber generic. Two, they follow a basic trend of "Kings, Warriors, trolls, elves, lizard people, fairies" etc. Three, battle animations are ALWAYS sloppy. Meaning, (for the not-so-literate) that when your dude swings a sword it doesn't animate really, just kind of magically finds its way from A to B without bending a joint. Lastly, gameplay usually centers around typical hack and slash.
Look if it bothers you so bad, go play said game and stop rating me down cause' our views differ, that's weak. Or send me copies of those games and I'll play them (pawn them). I'm not doubting those games have something likeable at their core. But I certainly don't see the appeal. How can a game spawn 6 sequels and the devs still don't know how to properly animate battles? Answer me that please, and I'll take some of what I said back.
FFXI pwns in MMORPGs, thank you (I just like to say that :P).
