Rumor: Silent Hill 5 is for the PS3? |

Waaaay back in July, we told you guys about this rumor going around that Silent Hill 5 is in the works. Now, as an update to that earlier article which could either fan the flame or totally kill it, Jeux-France reports that the fifth installment of the popular series is indeed in the works, and not only that, the lucky chosen console for it is the PS3.
But before all you PS3 "advocates" rejoice, you should know that this hasn't been confirmed by Konami yet, but according to Jeux-France, their source (gaming magazine "CPM the U.K.") confirmed that Silent Hill 5 is indeed currently under development. Also that au contraire to earlier reports that the fifth title will resonate with its preceding one, the game will have an atmosphere close to the second episode of the series. Or at least that's what the Google translation tells us.
The game will supposedly go for a psychological horror feel this time (but hasn't that always been the case - or that's just me) but until Konami confirms this, or at least until a scan of the article shows up on the net, let's take this one with a grain of salt. We'll keep you posted for any developments.

On a seriouse note, i highly doubt this, konami stoped the silent hill series on the xbox becuase it didnt sell as well as sony thanks to there being more ps2 machines, however, the tables have turned and micro$hit is in a better position, so its only logical that they will have the game on 360 and ps3. Even then, in the chance it is a ps3 exclusive, the 360 has Alan Wake and alone in the dark for all you scare freaks to look forward to, and i think thats a good deal since alan wake is pc and 360 only, though not sure about Alone in the Dark. So while i would still miss silent hill and buy a ps3 4 dis game eventually, thats just me persoanally.

nah im talking in general. every single topic has a fanboy talking about blah blah console is better then blah blah console. i just came out before someone posted about blah blah console being better then blah blah blah console.
Really both sites xbox and ps are a bunch of geeks who have no lives except worshipping their consoles. who cares which consoles are better. Both consoles are awesome. any how yah have a happy holiday.
