Media Molecule flickr shows in-game image importing for LittleBigPlanet - Image 1

Will Media Molecule introduce an image importing feature to LittleBigPlanet or not? First they said yes, then they said no. Then this little photo pops up showing an image importing tool and we're now on "maybe." The photo shows a feature that allows you to "import images from your PlayStation Hard Drive to use as stickers."

This photo was found on Media Molecule's flickr site. If you notice, there's a caption at the bottom left of the screen saying it's a work in progress. (At the bottom right, you'll find a sackboy plushie, looking all cute.) The photo was also uploaded yesterday, when they said they had no plans of introducing an image importer tool.

Perhaps this is an internal image importer for dev use only? Then why string us along by posting it in their flickr page when expectations are high that they will be introducing the feature? It feels like they're toying with us. (An image suddenly popped up in my head of sackboys playing LittleBigPlanet with humans as their characters.)

Well, looks like we'll have to play the waiting game again. We'll keep you posted.

» Now this is annoying.

I really hope they do let us import pictures from our hard drive.
