If it is true atleast sony fans will have it as a timed exclusive and PS3 owners will be the first to get their hands on it. I guess sony's pockets are empty at the moment and publishers aren't that optimistic about where their install is going to be this year. Well it would really suck if the PS3 lost such a gigantic exclusive. It wouldn't make any sense though; all of the Tekken games (except for Tekken Advance, which sucked btw) have remained on a Sony platform. They also recently released the Dark Resurrection remake in full 1080p. Unless that was their last token of appreciation towards Sony, I'm confident it will remain an exclusive.

I was a big fan of the ps consoles from ps1 to psp, but things changed i sold my ps2 and bought an xbox and i was happy the online was great and graphics were good. But i then bought a psp and the games wer crap so sold it for a ds. happy with my ds and xbox i bought a ds lite and a 360. Then i bought a wii and i cudnt be happier. I played a ps3, and its ***** im sorry but sony fanboys please, it feels like beta software. The menu is ripped from a psp, the loading times are horrible, the framerate is horrible even in resistance and the controller my god dont get me started. Sony took a video decoder chip and turned it into a games processor then asked nvidia for a graphics card. Id rather have MS who took a good processor and added a few cores for performance, asked ati for a nextgen card with stuff like gemoetry shaders and removed the awful black and white buttons and put them in a usable place, then made live even better. Did you even play Perfect Dark Zero? I had high hopes for PDZ, and ended up being disappointed because of the hype. If you really think Resistance isn't one for the best looking games and it doesn't beat PDZ, then you're not even worth it. As for Tekken, I highly doubt it that it will come to the PS3. And PS3 games being easily ported to the 360, that would be a no. Each system have diffrent structures and each games made for them is tweaked and constructed to be take advantage of what the system offers. And you have to remember that when a company sees the system their franchises started on, sell the amount of system it did and is still strong 6-10 years after it launched, companies will have faith and be willing to go behind that system. And as for Blu-ray, people are bragging about it because it looks more promising then Sony's past attempts on new technologies. Seeing how you can have really large amount of data saves on it (25G 50G and even 200G soon!), entertainment mediums, especially like movies and games, can really benifit from the large amount of space. They can use Blu-ray to record anything they are working on like the whole movie unedited so they can delete stuff later, bloopers, actor rehearsals, etc. For games, they can have more content in there, more levels and more features in the games, can add every single language and region coding (no more waiting for Japanese games to be translated like Final Fantasy), and have the space there if needed without having to worry about the space available and instead concentrate on making the game. And seeing how HD is now popular and people always want better looking videos, they will need large amounts of space in order to record HD. Blu-ray has more space in HD and that gives people more space and more hours of HD content. Blu-ray isn't limited in terms of how expandable in amount of space possible, as they just need to add layers every time. Whether you hate Blu-ray or not, you should be glad there is technology like this, and instead of being a blind Fanboy, you should be looking forward to the possibilities. this can bring to gaming.

Infact, I was more surprised than anyone to see Virtua Fighter come to the 360, and i usually come here QJ to get my reading fix. Secondly, of all games, How do you figure Tekken 6 will go to the 360? I haven't seen Tekken on another console since ever. I also know that Namco created two dark resurrection game for 2 Sony platforms, not anyone else’s. And most importantly, if any moron wanted to start a rumor, he'd most definitely start one about Tekken after the whole Vitua Fighter debacle--I can't really say debacle because the previous news only got like 30 hits. So flame it or love, Sega is well tied with Microsoft. I saw panzer, jet set, otogi, Shenmue only on the xbox, and now Virtua Fighter. Tekken however, well...to quote every 360 fanboi's reaction: "It looks like ass."

This rumor is so grave that I'm not even going to open my newly acquired PS3 until we get some solid info about this bit of info. To put this into perspective, before there was Gran Turismo, there was Tekken, there was Soul Blade, and there was Virtua Fighter, that put the Playstation on the map; I happen to be from those schools since 11 years ago. In other words, the reason why millions of people hopped on the Playstation bandwagon back then. Games like MGS and the rest of the great games that came out on the Sony console were kudos and high fives available for us to drink up(read:celebrate) and go through in our gray systems. A couple of years ago we seen the impressive debut of Soul Blade (soul calibur) into the Xbox realm, which me and select friends bagged faster than a lizzard catching a fly meal. It is of important note because Soul Calibur was one of Sony's 24" guns that had gone to "the evil empire", Mwa-haha!. If Tekken makes it's way to the 360, as Virtua Fighter 5 is about to do, I'm afraid to say that the PS3 might be the next Titanic. I suggest that all those gamers on the fence about opening up that PS3 box like me, keep searching for good solid reasons to unbox that expensive piece of high tech hardware.

This may be off topic, but Gran Turismo is such an overrated garbage racing. It has the physics of a bumper car, what the f!ck. Look how the car turns its hard as hell. Xbox 360 is a rip-off, period. Sony already compared 360 to PS3 as in terms of what 360 will take to match a PS3 almost. I was skeptical about PS3's price but its a bargain. Not many people think so. My little brother got a 360 for Christmas and guess what it turns out its a rip-off like every other bundled up Microsoft product out there. I mean seriously 20GB hard drive for what?! 100 bucks? There a serious rip-off there especial when 100GB SATA hard drives costs about $100-$179 depending on what model you are going to buy. But, seriously 20gb isn't even enough and it would be a hassle to connect any wires to the 360. USB to IDE or SATA adaptor for hard drives do not cut it as if what happens if i am downloading something and i accidently take out the cable. I'd rather for everything to be internal. I see why Playstation 3 is bigger. Its actually smaller than how the 360 would have been if it had included everything it has internally. You do not believe 360 is a rip off then please go research Microsoft's history please. Things come off as cheap in a bundle but when you want additional features its going cost more than the competition. MOST people want everything featured inside the package. Playstation 3 or Wii for that matter has everything inside already; theres hardly anything you would want to buy but games after buying the system(s). A lot of people need to do research on the systems they buy, not just the games. You to defend your console against another, research is you best answer. Don't just assume. Theres really nothing more for me to say as the 360 bashing could go much longer. :)

Maybe because some gamers are not idiots who only choose to like a game if it's on their chosen console. Maybe it's because some gamers are able to seperate games and developers from the consoles they own, and therefore can recognise a great game even if it's not on their console. This is where I will explain the consoles. Graphically, neither will have an extreme edge in how a game looks. But the PS3 has the ability to use its processing power to make games have more objects on screen, therefore making a game look much better. Look at games like WarHawk and LAIR, both of these games could not be done on the Xbox360 because of processing power, its just not possible, the Xbox360 is inferior when it comes to processing power and the reason why it will never use the full potential of a low model DX10 graphics card. Its already reaching its limit on UE3 with GoW. RUMORS ARE RUMORS. Its a RUMOR and should be left at that. Some companies might go multi-platform but the fact remains, once the PS3 starts selling alot more, Developers will have no need to choose which platform to develop for especially JP developers. Microsoft knows if they want to dominate in this market, they need Japans support. Initially since the PS3 is in low supply, more games probably will come out to th Xbox360, but once the PS3 is well settled and will be soon, then the development cost to go multi-platform will seem less appealing. The fact remains that this generation comes down to processing power, without it, your pretty much limiting yourself. With the CELL processor, alot of things are possible like LAIR , Warhawk and GTHD. PS3 has better audio anyways, blows the Xbox360 out of the water. Uncompress lossless master audio sounds much better then compressed sound on the Xbox360. Movies on the PS3 sound several times better then the Xbox360 HD DVD. Sound is important and lossless master audio takes up loads of space. Some games are using it like RFoM, and it sounds amazing.

Why the Gaystation 3 is so quiet. The cooling fan is so slow it makes the system overheat. No wonder why GS3 overheats more than the Xbox 360. Another thing there are more Gaystation cowards. Sony allows cheat devices in their console, gamesaves, etc. As for the web browser, who cares its a F!cking gimmick. Why surf the internet on a f!cking videogame console when I could use my microsoft windows pc. Imagine using the tiny controller to type the site thats f!cked up. Im not waisting money buying a bluetooth keyboard, Im not even gonna waist my money buying a f!cking Gaystation 3. No console should ever cost 600 and I hope Sony will not make anymore consoles. As for Gears of War, the PS3 can't handle it because its overrated it will have alot of lags. tekken 6

the tekken series is a solid game from anyone's perspective, but the combat in general looks a lot slower than many of todays fighting games (Mortal Kombat, DOA, and soul calibur) unless namco makes the fighting more dynamic and more "eye popping" this game might as well stay exclusive. ive liked all tekken games 1-3, but the last 2 put a damper on my interest in the series. but w/e namco decides to do with this game, i wish it all the best.. if it only comes out for the PS3, then so be it, i hope its a good game so "sony supporters" can throw monkey poop at us xbox fans. not really worried though, we still ahve DoA series.

sony don't own tekken namco does, every tekken game that ever came out has been published and developed by namco, and tekken coming to xbox was always a possibility, It was suspect when tekken didn't launch with the ps3 every playstation system launched with a tekken game except ps3 so I knew something was up, and by the way sony computer entertainment has never made a good game lol, sony relies heavily on other companies for games.

lol ya ur right about sony games being too intense

the only thing intense about sony's games is the funk that seems to waft from its cases into the nose of unknowing people. since fanboys have been smelling that rap for years they grow accustomed to it... and eventually like it. and yes i agree, halo is the gayest game of all time. it just managed to sell 14 million or so copies since it came out 2 or so years ago and managed to log about 1 + billion hours of gameplay online. so ya, i guess theres a lot of gay halo nerds out there. its also worth mentioning that other gay xbox games like gears of war and the upcoming lost planet has a combined total of maybe 10 or so million hours of gameplay. it seems that the world has gone absolutely gay..... and suddenly overnight became losers.... good thing ur a "winner" Z cuz not all of us can find physical attraction to final fantasy characters and their androgynous looking male leads. who knows, with that in mind, u might be playing halo on ur spare time ;) take care and good night
