RUMOR: PS3 launch on March 23rd? |

First, for the good news. SCEE's David Reeves reiterated that the PS3 will be launching in March, as planned previously. As for the bad news: TBWA, the company in charge of PS3 advertisements in London, has announced that their advertising campaign for the console begins late in the same month.This seems to coincide with a recent report from retails sources who say the same thing - that the PS3's launch will be moved back to March 23. Sony has yet to make full details on the PS3's March launch, thought additional information is expected develop within the next few days. Keep in mind that this is just speculation based on interconnected announcements - we'll let you know if anything solid comes up. Now, if it turns out to be true, we at least know of places for a console preview...

I'm in the uk and remember buying the ps1 and waitingin line for the ps2. Now comes the ps3 and I couldn't care less. I'm defo waiting on a price cut and some proper games. Sorry sony, but you treat us PAL brothers like utter sh_ite
I',m in a way like to wayto,I waited and waited and even if I got one there are no decent games,it's not looking so powerful either now we all know its 2005 hardware,the 360 has the better games now and looking at the 2007 releases i'm going for 360.

March 23rd Oh I will NOT be bothering with that as I have in the last 2 months paid out for a 360 and a Wi for presents, come on we are not all rich.and they have no games for this PS3 worth buying,sorry but this time around is not a Sony time for me.
erm, i got one back in november, (60gb for $600) here in the US.....all i've been playing is resistance..the only thing that keeps it fun is the rank system in the online play...otherwise, you have a good point, no games until mgs4, dmc4, warhawk, and ffxiii...i guess i'll just have to wait.
most likely for me is... buy FFXII with it and since i like watching a lot of movies... LINUX is definitely a must for me :) will probably get a few games for it... but that's all
March 23rd ! shouldn't it be March 1st as the 360 has a very big release of AAA Games throughout March.
