RUMOR: Playstation 3 getting Time Crisis 4 |

The Time Crisis series by Namco Bandai has become an arcade staple since its first release last 1995. Now, the latest version of the game, Time Crisis 4 is said to be heading to Sony's PlayStation 3. Like a previous rumor regarding Time Crisis on the Wii, this has yet to be confirmed.It seems that Gamestop and EBgames have been running a pre-release sale of Time Crisis 4 with Guncon for the PS3. Both sites are selling it a US$ 89.99 with a pre-release shipping date of November 11, 2007. Namco Bandai America has not confirmed this game, although certain sites have said that there is an upcoming shooter from Namco Bandai.
If anyone has any information regarding the matter, feel free to post it and help the entire PS3 community learn the truth about this rumor.

the technology that is used in the light guns in time crisis will not work with tvs such as DLPS and projection-lcds
i was just about to type the same thing. theyd have to come up with a gun that works like the wiiremote where the signal bounces off infrared LED's.
then unless they add some kind of crosshair, that would be incredibly inaccurate. Well, I'm sure they will be able to figure it out. Seems like it will be fun.
A nice gun based game for the ps3. I think that it would be great. I miss the days of spending hours in the arcade as a kid playing all kinds of gun based games (even though I am opposed to real guns). Police Trainer owned me. Perhaps this is something that could be quite entertaining. I personally don't care what system it comes out for - however, I would rather it on a high def system.
It's been done. It's called the LCDTopgun, and it's been around since BEFORE the wiimote.
In any arcade with time crisis, it is the #1 game. I want a next gen TC with wireless guns!
If the guncom with this game can be used for ps1or ps2 light gun games I'll buy one so I can play Point blank 2 and maximum force. I just need a wireless gun that will work on the ps3 and an hdtv.

omg so i'm gonna have to shell out more money for more guncons...? $90 sounds kinda steep... the previous time crisis' with guncons have been... what, $70?
It's just incentive to play it more often.
If they had a crosshair on the screen they might be able to use the SIXAXIS as a gun. It wouldn't be anywhere near as good as a light gun but might be an idea.
