Rumor: Ninja Gaiden on PS3?

ryuJapanese gaming bible Famitsu has reported in its latest issue that a new title, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, is  currently under development for the PS3. PS3 fans should expect that more about Ryu Hayabusa will be revealed by September 22 during Sony's pre-TGS conference, and of course, during the Tokyo Game Show.

The magazine affirms that "it will be a complete edition of Ninja Gaiden." It reports that Racheal will be a more playable character. Racheal is the scantily-clad female character who makes a few appearances in other Ninja Gaiden games. Famitsu also reports that in the new PS3 release,  the system of combat and the graphics will be improved, there more weapons will be available, and it will become possible to use two swords simultaneously, among other things.

We'll keep you posted on what will be revealed about Ninja Gaiden in the upcoming week so be on the lookout for more info here.

Sorry for the caps but seriously, itagaki is a huge talent and everybody knows how awesome gaiden was so just imagine it on next-gen hardware...*drool*. DMC4, MGS and now ninja gaiden, heres wishing that it's an actual sequal.

That's what I'm talking about. I have all three current gen consoles, but the only reason I bought the XBOX was because of Ninja Gaiden. I don't even own Halo. All the games I got for my XBOX are multiplatform games, Ninja Gaiden and PC ports. I really hope that this is not a rumor. This thing is going to look incredible on the PS3. Can't wait. I already preordered Heavenly Sword, Resistance & and Assasins Creed and Ninja Gaiden would make a nice addition to my already growing collection. I just wish I could preoder the actual PS3 already, it's killing me.

on an interview with ign, he said that if sony fanbase really wants a game like DOA that he might do it. thats when he said they were playing around with the ps3 dev kit, and this was a while back so this was the game he was making.

This is just a revamped version of Ninja Gaiden Black. Now don't get me wrong this is still sweet but it's still just the xbox 1 version with you know better everything. Ninja Gaiden 2 is still on the works.



But who knows I accually like this for Team Ninja rocks and it'll be a nice addition to the sony console.

i hated this game because it was only on the xbox and i didnt want an xbox. but now i might be able to play. old one or new one, it doesnt matter. tecmo's team ninja is becoming my best friends. ninja gaiden would be great. but i still want to play doa. it would be nice if all the 3d fighting games joined. tekken vs. doa vs. virtrua fighters vs. soul cal.

I was slighgtly interested in Ninja Gaiden myself. I played the older games for NES and such, but I never got to play Gaiden, so this is interesting news.

I never expected Ninja Gaiden to be on a PLAYSTATION brand I guess I was wrong haha. Can't wait for this game saw my cousin played on this on his X-box a few years ago looks great and plays great. Going to look better on the PLAYSTATION 3.
