Keep in mind that spoiling yourself after watching the allegedly leaked video below thinking it could be fake won't be anyone else's fault. With that out of the way, we can say we share the sentiments of other viewers who doubt the "100% legit" Grand Theft Auto 4 intro.
We've been led to believe Grand Theft Auto 4 will be leaps beyond its predecessors, but the presentation here is too similar to what we've seen before. In particular, speculation of the video being from a modded GTA: San Andreas doesn't sound far fetched. Watch it and see for yourself.

even if it was a modded san andreas the 360 wouldn't play it a flashed or chipped 360 can only play backups of its own region so that throws out the chances of it being a mod. there is currently no way to play a modified game on a 360 unlike the wii.
Its FAKE! there's no hologram around the inside of the disc. The intros a GTA San Andreas mod, plus, look at the date at the end, its 2004! Rockstar wouldn't make it look the same as San Andreas, they're emphasising that this is IV so everything is new!
Anyone notice the missing xbox seal, that is in the center of basicaly every xbox game? because of that one thing, i call shenanigans on this video, the intro looks legit, but i dont think its legit

There Was a Typo in my Subject its Suppost to Read, "U Dont Think This IS Legit" and now im adding, YOU CANT POSSIBLY THINK THIS IS LEGIT, Just re watched it, on top of the missing xbox seal in the center of the disc missing, the year also says 2004 as u said, i dont think rockstar would use the same type of intro for san andreas and IV, so ONCE AGAIN SHENANIGANS!!
You can mod any game and play it on any 360 that has been modded so that throws your idea right out the window. Why does it throw this out as being a fake ??? You are talking total crud!!!! Its a fake end of story why not have some gameplay going and why not show the back of the disc before they put it n the drive?? Oh yes that is because its purple and not silver like it should be.
I am 80% sure that it says Rockstar Copyright 2006 (something along those lines) after the intro.
Since when have you ever seen a game load up so fast ?? i mean.. my 360 takes a couple of secs to read the game and go into it !!!...
Another thing... Where the hologram sticker in the middle of the *****. It's suppose to say xbox 360 on it !!!

xbox360 can play region free games, so an import is not out of the question...
the packaging seems to be all fake, atleast not 100% retail.
he never shows the bottom of the disc which makes me think it's a burned copy.
the copyright at the end looks to me like 2006 or 2008.
like others i must wonder why he stopped short of gameplay footage.
1. flip through the booklet
2. show the poster that comes with it
3. put the disc in the system, turn it off and on again to let the machine read the title and say "Grand Theft Auto 4"
4. and obviously show gameplay footage.
Plus the spine of the case is white and the letters don't look right. I think the spine is supposed to be black
how can you be sure that the video is coming from the 360, it could very well be from a PC hooked up to the monitor. (maybe he used a switchbox to switch between XBOX input and PC input)

u seriously know nothing about the 360 scene if u think people know how to resign an xbox360 iso to play on a system the wii is the only system that allows fully modified games to be played. a chipped 360 only tricks the laser to believe that an original is being played same with all the firmwares that u flash onto ur drive.

Er WRONG!! Let me think oh yes Guitar Hero 2 and 3 were both modded with other games and they played on a modified 360 so why could you not just do that with a original copy of GTA San Andreas and alter it? what is stopping them making a video of the game and placing it in the 360 and printing on the disc ? as i said you dont see the back of the disc so its very easy for it to be fake. There are too many things that are wrong it will be out soon enough anyway so whats the point in posting crud like this pointless video apart from someone saying i fooled the world !! NOT!

They show somthing thats basically impossible and through the whole video they dont even talk at all. He didn't say how or where he got it so I don't believe it.
Why does he take care of not cutting and film the box dvd and stuff but cut just when the game is loading... I mean it takes mere seconds for the game to show up on the console... why cutting?

Nothing say it's the 360 displayed on the monitor... I mean it could very easily be a recording of the 360 reading a disk edited at the begenning of the game's "intro"
really I don't buy this... I'd imagine the intro showing real Liberty City footages, like buildings and stuff...
Is it not possible that this is a video he made on his computer and put onto an, oh I don't know.. A DVD?? ... Xbox's play dvds you know. Everyone elses theories are horrible. I'm going to go ahead and believe it's a DVD, and hence the fact that there is no seal it is fake.
No XBOX seal around the middle, the date is wrong, theres a cut from loading the disc to showing the screen and theres only a hand book in the case while we know from leaked shots that there is also a poster sized map, making that bundle bigger.
I really wish I had this kind of time on my hands, to make this video so I could pull my pud and feel smart.

This is bull crap. If you really had the game you would be showing of MORE than just the cover and the intro. Like many have said here you'd be showing off gameplay. But look at the Guide in the box... it's cheap looking. PLUS if this really was the real deal rockstar would be all over it to get it removed.
Rockstar would never make GTA 4 have the same dumb intro that GTA 3 had. There isn't even any music and gameplay isn't shown. I recognize many of the images from the free GTA 4 wallpaper downloads.
If you really had the game, wouldn't you want to show the gameplay?
It may have been fake but the music was pretty cool.
