The rumor stems from a new image spotted on the official King of Fighters Anniversary website, which features the aforementioned K' and scantily-clad fan-favorite Mai Shiranui all done up in the KoFXII art style. Get your dose of sideboob below:
Ah, I hope this is true. I wanna start throwing Chain Drives around already. The worldwide release for KoFXII's Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions has been set by SNK Playmore for July 2009.

Dude, you put KoF XIII instead of XII I actually though they were talkin about a new KoF already before shortly relizing it was typo (or is it?)
Any I've always been KoF kinda guy also I always know who my fav chars are going to be befor I play and often the first person I pick they're just "Xis" characters I can't find a fave char for me In SF games plus the characters seem too...."Two dimensional" to me not sayin SF is at al a bad series , just was never for me ya kno?

I hear Andy Bogard is in this game too. Been a fan of him since Fatal Fury. I stopped playing the game because he wasn't there and the game began to suck. I hope they add something new to the game.
but I've always been more of a Samurai Spirit guy than a Street Fighter or KoF fan. =P I hope there is gonna be news on the New SS arcade game port over to home version soon
I think Mai wasn't included in the arcade version of KOF XI. That said, I think K' and Mai aren't necessarily console additions only, because from what I understand this game was just released for the arcades yesterday?
Never could stand King of Fighters. Always found the fighting kinda sluggish and dull and never found a single character I liked. A lot of them trying to hard to be 'cool' and lot were just plain awful. Perhaps it's just a bit too japanese for me.
Garou - Mark of the Wolves though was a lot more playable but again had a lot of really bland character designs.
Mai is an iconic character for the series and is what makes people know its KoF... why would they exclude her?
