And they probably were too lazy to create additional missions and storyline for liberty city.

There is no continuity. It was destroyed with GTA4... which was purposely done so they could stray from the old stories and start anew.

why is everyone against adding three cities to the game? I am guessing you guys are only pissed cause the 360 side might be the only one getting this. I will let you know that I own it for PS3 as well and I would hate it if Rockstar made it exclusive.

the continuity is broken because Liberty City in GTA4 and in GTAIII and the other spinoffs are completely different cites although the name is the same.

its an easter egg, if the DLC featured new islands i doubt it will be anything like the size of san andreas



also san andreas map was *****, theres like 3 tiny areas of interest the rest is either woodland, mountains or desert. rockstar got lazy yet everyone thought it was unbelievable the size, yes the size of absolute nothing

I agree and for the ppl who dont know ALL these citys where in GTA the original game so OFC its Time for london (The First Expansion to GTA). London was sorta left out the PS2 Remakes hopefully its brought back. I think we will see another Bully before a new GTA tho.

look at GTA III, at staunton island there was a billboard that said See You In Miami, they can remake vice city and san andreas, liberty city is modeled after new york, vice city is basicly miami, but san andreas is the west coast, california and nevada. london was a joke. bbut they should make carcer city cuz all ps2 gtas had spoilers for the next city/game to be released except carcer.

I doubt we'll ever see more than one city in a game for quite some time.. okay well we do see two cities in GTA4 but you cant count that as an extra city really, its just a little farty island with nothing interesting there Isnt that supposed to be Jersey or somewhere?



During the game we hear a lot of mention of Vice City, near the end of the game Roman says "we can buy a private jet and goto Vice City" but thats nothing really.. they always say stuff like this in GTA games, like in GTA3 and San An they mentioned Carcer City, which was the city in Manhunt (so manhunt is in the same world as gta?)



Also, I dont see a reason to remake Vice City or San Andrea's, well maybe not San Andreas, we could do with a bigger Vice City though, but i'd keep the islands already there and work a little more on it, if it was me. And I think they only remade Liberty City because.. well i think the city was way too small, and they could've done a lot more with it, and they did. The GTA4 story still fits into the timelines set 7 years after GTA3 (Lazlow mentions his other jobs in the other games) and I don't know about you, but I can get my head around it being the same city.. besides, its possible to recreate the whole gta3 game in this city, i'm sure some people will mod the game like they always do. if its PC obviously

Can anyone see San Andreas being joined on to Liberty City? It would spoil the whole look and feel of the game.

Btw, i meant with that post that IN GAME its not likely to see both citys joined. It will be hard to see any major improvements in the next GTA. Hopefully next time, both consoles can stop focusing so much on processing power and focus on not adding things that will end up bottlenecking their power later. Just my 2 cents.
