That's Loppi. A ticket-selling/ pre-ordering machine found in the convenience store Lawson in Japan. Loppi lists Square Enix's FFXIII to be priced at JPÂ¥ 8,240 (US$ 88.99), with pre-orders starting next week, September 9th.
No word yet as to whether or not this is real or final, or when the game will come out. Keep it locked here, we'll be sure to update you on this.

in Europe the "official" price for new releases are 60€-70€ or about 7900Yen - 9200Yen or about 85$-99$ as you see here in Europe we have to deal with higher prices and we earn about the same. This is not new... You in the US have better prices than Europe or Japan. So enjoy it.
I mean a game that usually cost 60€ in Europe wil cost 60$ in USA. That's not fair for Europe... And for this reason the piracy level in EU is higher than in US, the price of games.

So with our, lets say 25% mark up, we'll probably be paying closer to 60 quid.

Right now there are 4-5 games i'd like to get in the next few months, but being a student I can only get 2 max. Infamous today and nhl 10 when it comes out (held off on 08 and 09). Then waiting for drakes, then hoping the next game will be FF....
