Rumor: Composer's website reveals new games for Xbox 360, PS3, PSP |
Ó
You may or may not know the name Norihiko Hibino. For those who don't know him, he's the guy responsible for the cinematic and in-game music in the Metal Gear Solid games. Now, why is he so important? It's because his body of work has inadvertently revealed some new game titles for the PS3, PSP, and Xbox 360.Hibino's website, which contains a list of all the stuff he's done so far, mentions a new Konami title for the Xbox 360 that's apparently being readied for a Japanese release. For the new title, he's listed as working on the music and sound effects.
Another notable title mentioned in Hibino's website is a new PS3 game from No More Heroes developer Grasshopper Manufacture. Unlike the Konami game, this one is tagged for a worldwide release. Is this the game that Grasshopper's working on for Electronic Arts? No idea. Suda 51 has also mentioned working on a PS3 horror game called Kurayami a couple of years ago, so this could be it.
There's also a new PSP title from Marvelous Entertainment listed there, but it's for Japan only, it seems. If I recall correctly, Marvelous' Harvest Moon: Sugar Mura has already been released and Yuusha 30 is planned for an international release, so it could be a new game entirely. Or it could be the game in the related articles below.
More updates as details surface.
