The "leaked" PlayStation Cloud details and images spotted circulating the Web have been found to be unfortunately fake. Jeff Rubenstein of Sony himself called it.

The post looked convincing enough, particularly because the screenshot looked authentic, plus the source allegedly came from Sony. The information even included details on how the PlayStation Network is being geared to becoming more social, wherein the team is supposedly creating a group system through the PS Cloud "just like Facebook and Steams, however this one will allow you to create clan groups too and let you connect it with your PS Home Club House."

This reached Rubenstein, and with quick and simple flick of his wrist shrugged off the rumors.

This 'mockup' is pure conjecture. This is 100 percent fake."

And there you have it. Fake.

Well, it probably just wouldn't tell you that the person got off the game, but this image looks pretty stupid. Why would I sit there analyzing every little thing my friends do?

A waste of time.

Seems like a good idea to me, especially if this is something that can sit in the corner of the screen like the RSS feed.

Obviously the screenshot could be fake....but it could be that Sony is just mad that their secret projects keep getting leaked and are now denying everything flat out.
