Brutal Legend - Image 1It's been a long time coming, and still, Double Fine's highly anticipated third-person action title, Brutal Legend has yet to find Mr. Right. Or in this case, publisher-right.  At least that's what's been going through the grapevine.

Now if you remember, a couple of months back, creator Tim Schafer revealed that the game will not be making an appearance at the E3 because of "the whole [Activision Blizzard] merger thing." Well that merger has now been settled, but unfortunately, Brutal Legend (PS3 and Xbox 360) is left without a publisher for some reason, with some saying there were some gaping loopholes in the contract.

So it seems like the game is back in the loving arms of its developers, and waiting for a publisher to pick it up. We definitely hope this gets resolved fast. I mean, how can you ignore this rock n'rolla thriller? It's got to be banging. Besides, it's gonna be such a waste to shelf an already-finished title just because there was no publisher to take care of it.

We'll keep you posted on more updates as they come.

I really want

This game to be as good as I think it will be... but this is the age of crushed expectations and I don't wanna get my hopes up in vain.
