The Sackboys are almost here! Can you smell it? LittleBigPlanet is now inching towards its long-awaited release onto retail, and already, the retailers are throwing hints at the eager market.
We hear from from PSXExtreme that French retailer Fnac has listed an 80GB PS3-LittleBigPlanet bundle set for release on November 5. They've also revealed the price tag for this bundle: some 400 Euros.
Even though, let's say for a moment, this rumor were to be proven true, this doesn't immediately confirm any LBP bundle for other regions outside of Europe either.
The unfortunate thing though is that Fnac's listing of the bundle seems to have been taken down (did Sony Europe send them a notice?). And it's props to PSXExtreme for grabbing the product shot quickly enough.
Well, if everyone keeps on saying how LittleBigPlanet will be a console-mover and all (as what Media Molecule said of their own game just recently), it does somewhat stand to reason that Sony might want to release a PS3 bundle for it, yes? Let's see how the coming weeks unfold before we flag this rumor for the "Confirmed" wagon.

i dont know why people are so excited about this game
from what i know, it always to to create well made levels
share them with others, and play togther online
anything else im missing
to me this game shouldve been here from the start of the 360 even, its simple, nothing to complex is required, just new gameplay
it seems to me, other games deserve more article space online
The day before my birthday!
I played an early version of this game at San Diego's Comic Con 08 and trust me, nothing like this has ever been done!
Yes, you can create levels, but what is different is the degree of freedom you are given. If you have ever played Stacraft under "Use Map Settings", then you know that what the users create can be a totally different experience from what the game was intended to be.
You get to create your own 2.5D platformer, and those are always fun. Mario games are popular for a reason.
It's a funny game with little violence that should appeal to everyone. Playing with strangers at Comic Con was extreme fun, now imagine what it would be like to play with your friends.
I currently only play one PS3 game: Warhawk. LittleBigPlanet will create a nice distraction before I go back to Warhawk.
I will be buying this game at launch, but I wouldn't recommend this game to everyone. You have to enjoy scrollers, you have to be creative, and you need friends to enjoy this game. If you are missing one of the above, don't get this game.

ive been wanting this since i downloaded game maker 7 last year from yoyogames.com i guess some people don't understand its fun to create games sometimes even more fun then playing them and with this its easy and on ps3!!!!!! i can't believe someone isn't excited about this game

There is no big secret around this game. Media Molecule have been showing it off for over 1.5yrs.
