Retailers to take advantage of eBay with PS3? |

It shouldn't be a surprise if small time gaming shops take advantage of console shortages, especially when they are highly demanded and poorly supplied. It seems that regular shoppers aren't the only ones taking advantage of eBaying new consoles for super profits. Back when the Xbox 360 came out, people were selling them on eBay for a fortune and I kick myself for not doing the same.According to an article on Joystiq, a small gaming shop sold each and every Xbox 360 on eBay for almost 100% over value each time, and they plan on doing the same for the PS3. If this minor store is going to do it, there's no telling how many countless shops and major store managers will do the same. Ever since E3 and the showcase of the PS3, people have been drooling over it and eagerly awaiting its arrival. I just don't understand why someone would pay 5x the retail price just to have it a few days after its launch. Personally, I'd just wait for the stores to stock it a few months later and walk in and grab one, but people are idiots and apparently those idiots are loaded, that or they spoil their kids too much.

Pre-Order say 10 PS3's wait till they are sold out (should be like 15mins). Wait till nearer Xmas and put em on. Get ur money in your bank a/c in less than a week with paypal.
I going to wait till the price drops but I think im picking up a revolution before xmas for sure.

Who gets the majority stock of systems? GameStop/EB and BestBuy...there is NO WAY either of these retailers would sell their stock on ebay rather then distribute them to the retail stores...if a small shop here or there sells their stock of 3-4 then oh well...only the major retailers get more than just a couple on launch, and they don't do the ebay thing
another terrible qj entry
