Geo and PSM3 MAG SPITZ alerted us on a bit of news that will definitely pique your interest. We've been waiting for this for weeks, but amidst all the delays, the wait is coming to an end very soon for the fellows in the UK. The content pack for Insomniac Games' Resistance: Fall of Man has been announced for the UK.Reportedly, an in-game announcement was made - though it was only sent out to the players in Europe. According to the said announcement, the Resistance: Fall of Man UK servers will be down, beginning 2:30 AM UK time on June 29. The time for the end of the downtime wasn't as exact; it was only indicated that it "will continue into the afternoon". The exciting part is that the announcement says that after the said downtime, the long awaited DLC containing the update (for the worldwide servers) and Map Pack 1 will be available for download.
So far, it wasn't specified how much the Map Pack will cost. Let's hope that the guys at SCEA and Insomniac announce a release date for North America and for other territories as well. Cross your fingers, guys. News as they happen, so stay tuned.

Yeah, it has to be today for North America as well, since the reason for the delay was a problem with the global servers, and they've said everyone will move over at once. 2:30 am on Friday in London is 7:30 pm pacific today.

It's tommarow. The update and packs aren't ready until tommarow during the afternoon PST.
Also, Insomniac had nothing to do with fixing it. They obviously aren't directly trying to compete with RB6 if it was Sony that released them.
