**SPOILER ALERT! (In case you didn't realize it yet from the title)**

I suppose it should come as no surprise that there's a rumored 3rd installment in a franchise as successfully hyped as Resistance is. Speculation has certainly been abundant on that account since October of last year. To add to the mounting circumstantial evidence, we add one more: Resistance 2's ending.

The ending scene will have Nathan Hale biting the bullet (literally). Bummer right? Try not to be too surprised: Insomniac Games did warn us that the game will focus on the last 19 hours of Nathan Hale's life. On the up-side, before Hale takes the (theoretically) lethal shot, he proclaims ominously, "This is just the beginning."

A not-quite-so-subtle hint at another installment of the series? Very likely. With generally near-perfect scores from most game reviewers, millions and millions of dollars on the line for Sony, and an ending that all but had a "to be continued" caption plastered on the bottom of the screen, I'm wagering a resounding YES.

Here's the vid of the ending in question so you can see for yourselves. And remember, we're not forcing you to watch it either. It's ultimately up to you if you want to click the Play button and spoil yourself:

WTF!?!?!?!?!?!?!

dlc (down load content for those of you that arent tech savvy) sells games. research say people will get the game at 10% more chance if it has good dlc, so i would count on R2 (resistance 2) makers insomniac to make dlc for the ps3 R2.
