Remember that rumor about Insomniac Games developing the sequel to Resistance: Fall of Man? It was pretty hard to believe for some, but now more fuel is being thrown to the fire as another site reports some more details.According to Ripten, they were tipped off by a reliable source that the sequel to Resistance: Fall of Man is now in its pre-alpha testing stages and strides are being made to take it further.
The source reveals that Sony is in the process of recruiting an army of game testers to put Resistance 2 on an acid test of sorts. No screenshots or other forms of evidence were displayed.
Resistance: Fall of Man is the Sony PlayStation 3's flagship launch shooting game. It sported high-quality graphics, frenetic action, and some controversial content that we're all too familiar with. A sequel is anticipated with hopes of Sony raising the bar even higher.

If there'll be a sequel, I hope Insomniac will make it more challenging. I finished the 1st game in Superhuman and it wasn't really that challenging. I was also disappointed by the lack of final boss. But either or, it will still be a good sell if they make a sequel. I'll still own the game.
Great a Sequel.
I am more Interested in story and coop play.. since there is where the real fun is.
Insomniac is a great company that'll help boost sales of the PS3. First they releases Resistance at launch which was a great game, then about a year later they released Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and now they're gearing up for a Resistance sequel.
Hmmm let's see RFOM is currently PS3's best selling title, which equals $$, which makes companies happy. A sequel? I would bet the company on it!
BRING IT insomniac. Cant wait to see wot they throw in on multiplayer.
Oh yeh, hope they have multiplayer split screen too.
If resistance 2 comes out, it most likely a "halo franchise" for the ps3, im not saying sce will aquire insomniac games, but that would definatly be a step foward
