Resistance 1 and 2 to feature Trophy, Home Support, and more |

If you can't wait to find out more about Resistance 2, then here are a few tidbits of information straight from Insomniac Games' President Ted Price. Apparently, the developers of the game plan to have both Home and trophy support for both Resistance: Fall of Man and its sequel. Another interesting revelation is that Resistance 2 will not have any loading screens. According to Price, they have now have the ability to stream textures as well as other assets which allow them to pull this off. He went into this further, saying:
Not only does this improve the overall look but it cuts down on load times. In fact, you shouldnÂ’t notice any loading screens in R2. WeÂ’ve also added a lot more tech-wise - detail maps, new lighting system, new effects system, better normal mapping, better specular response, redone shaders and lots of behind-the-scenes stuff that makes the game really stand out aesthetically.
What makes this even better is the fact that they expect to increase the size of both the levels and the chapters in the game. So if all their plans push through, it looks like Resistance 2 will be as awesome as fans of the first game expect it to be.

with out a doubt the best and coolest of the bunch.. insomniac,naugh ty dog,and guerilla games are my favorite all time companies.
