Resident Evil 5's Move support limited only to Gold Edition

If you're looking to play Resident Evil 5 with the Move, then you better make sure you have no less than the Gold Edition with you. This was the pre-requisite mentioned over at the US PlayStation Blog.

So, unfortunately for you, if you have only the standard edition, or whatever else Collector's Edition version of the game, if it ain't gold, it ain't go. Now, if you do have the Gold Edition, then you can expect your free patch retrofitting the controls for the move come September 19th in North America.

There's hope for those who don't have the Gold Edition of Resident Evil 5 yet though. As soon as Move gets released this September, the new copies of the game's said edition will be supporting Move support already. So there's still no reason for you to miss out on the experience.

Resident Evil 5's Gold Edition brings you the following DLCs: Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape. Plus a whole lot of other goodies.

If I were into RE or interested in the move, this would seriously piss me off. Are Capcom planning on adding it to other versions as paid dlc, or is it truly gold or nothing?

Either way, it's an idiotic stunt. When are these freakin' companies going to learn that treating your customers like crap is NOT good business?

capcom should offer the patch to all versions. the only reason not to is greed. like anybody in their right mind would buy a crappy re-release of a disappointing sequel.

Seriously Capcom, this is weak.
I bought the original release and I bought the DLC all of it including the costumes.

And I can't have move support. What a load of crap that is, screw you Capcom, seriously that is crap.

lol I like how Capcom wants to beat Activision for the "Greed Crown". First they wanted people to buy online multiplayer, and now this.
