Resident Evil 5 Alternative Edition DLC and Gold Edition dated for US |
Ó

Here's a quick follow-up to the rather detailed Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition (PS3 and Xbox 360) post we recently put up. We now have a North American launch schedule for the DLC.
Here's the schedule as announced by Capcom:

Capcom hasn't revealed any prices for the DLC yet, but hopefully it'll be similar to the pricing strategy they announced for Japan.
What has been priced, however, is the Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition that bundles the original game and the new content outlined above. You can get this for US$ 49.99 starting March 9, 2010. The Xbox 360 version will include tokens for the DLC while the PS3 version will come with the new content already packed onto a Blu-ray disc.

From the horrible controls, infuriating boss batles, retarded story, and glitches it's amazing anybody would want to experience the horror (in gameplay) again.

Maybe you just can't play for shlt? That would be my guess. It's not their fault your 360 is faulty/glitchy.
Oh, I forgot, you have 6 360's and 5 PS3...or some such BS like that.

Graphics are good in the game, and the least of its problems.
No other recent game prevents you from moving while aiming or shooting. It does NOT work for this game.
The story flat out sucks. Wesker has a new virus which is released in Africa because Wesker likes huge mutated monsters more than humans.
Wesker controlls Jill with a "breast tumor" you have to rip off after avoiding Wesker while he repeats annoying catch phrases.
You have to find Irving to find some chick to find Wesker, and there is no reason to care about the retard dialogue or who knows where somebody else is.
So it ends with some airplane crashing into a volcano and wesker dies if you shoot his glowing tumor. WOW fun. Not really.
More quicktime button pressing minigames, which are sickening to see so often.
The AI partner is a total retard and does nothing but get in the way and waste items.
The menu sucks. USE a first aid spray should be the first choice, not EQUIP. Why the hell would I equip it, but not use it? Stupid.
The game will instantly kill you when near certain enemies, even if you're running past them.
Boss battles. Wesker particularly. The first time, you're supposed to hide? I thought it would be kinda fun to fight him, actually. OOh I get to the second time, but he's near impossible to hit. Oh wait until he turns out the lights, then hit him with a rocket, Duhh, common sense right? The last fight is the dumbest, jump through hoops you can only figure out with trial and error, THEN you can finally fight the f*cker.
This game sucks, all versions.

I beat the game, and never played it again. I just didn't find any fun in the gameplay. My 360 is still working great. Falcon motherboard.
"Absolutly no issue on my side with the 3D PC version."
You must enjoy playing CRAP then!

With PC version, you can modify it AKA limitless potential compared to consoles, which have limited stuff, console versions arent modifiable, the only thing that they have are the main game and DLC, thats all.
PC, you can add characters or skins, you can make a new area, add new stuff to it like play as Mercenary Wesker in main quest with all the abilities Wesker has AKA in PC, you can play as Wesker with his super human powers in the main quest, you can do it with Jill.
You can make new skins like adding in new costumes for Wesker.
This is what makes TES4 Oblivion so much better on PC, you can add new areas, a whole island, new houses, buildings and so on.

Anyway, your opinions are yours to keep. As always, the majory does not agree with your opinions.
As for the non-opinion part of your prior comment, like I said... NO GLITCHES HERE. It's your 360 that glitches!!!

The part I'm thinking of is that shooting sequence fighting "grandpa el-gigante." The game wasn't even fully tested! Sheva does not shoot anything with that gun!

Oh I know... next you'll be telling that my playing in 3D gave me an advantage! LOL

The only thing you have to say about the game is "Absolutly no issue."
NOBODY that even played a couple levels would say that about the game.
Again, you are PROVEN to lie about whatever view I disagree with, and you have nothing but lies to back up lies.
Any more interesting stories? Let me guess, your mom was killed by a pothead who hated Resident Evil games and nintendo? Then you could argue those fools who don't like resident evil games are at fault for being bad drivers.
Or how about the respected military veterans of the world (feel free to include your lying self) LOVE resident evil.
One of those BS stories should work

FACT - The game is rated high.
FACT - No PC issues here.
FACTish - Your 360 is pure shlt.
Got anything else to cry about?
...before you act like an idiot for the billionth time...rated high does not equal 10 out of 10. So use your brain for at least an hour before you reply. Hell, it couldn't hurt! Could it? HAHAHAHA!!!!!
