Reservoir Dogs Missing in Shelves? Why?

Reservoir Dogs

Well, it isn't a 360 game yet (ps2">ps2">PS2, XBox and PC so far), but the fears and ideas behind it are just as valid these days for any console.

According to the Spong.com, copies of Eidos' Reservoir Dogs for the XBox seem to be missing from store shelves in the UK. A little bit of investigation showed that copies of the game were being recalled.

Not because they were defective, mind you.

Because they were missing the game rating icon that tells us if it's safe for kiddie play or meant only for people hardened to violence and death. According to the report, "The packaging carries the rating logo, but without the logo on the disc, the game cannot legally be sold by UK retailers."

Ladies and gents, we should really be careful about the culture we're in now, as it seems games and gaming will be under scrutiny that much more often. While it's good that they did that, you have to wonder about the common sense behind it. Thoughts, folks?
