- Tournament Timeline:
- Dec. 22, 2008 - Feb. 28: Ladder Play (4v4)
- March 1 - 31: Top 64 teams advance to Bracket Play
- Prizes:
- 1st Place (1 team): US$ 9,000 per team - Cash
- 2nd Place (1 team): US$ 3,000 per team - Cash
- 3rd Place (2 teams): US$ 1, 800 per team - Cash
- 5th Place (4 teams): US$ 1,200 per team - Sony Style Gift Card
- 9th Place (8 teams): US$ 750 per team - Sony Style Gift Card
- 17th Place (16 teams): US$ 600 per team - Sony Style Gift Card
- 33rd Place (32 teams): US$ 450 per team - Sony Style Gift Card

Either the $ amount for the prizes is incorrect, or you need to add up the total amount again. It is waaaay over $5000.
qj, why is there always an anti-ps3 or anti-sony remark in these posts nowadays?!
i didnt want to write this.. but yeh, almost all the recent ps3 or sony related news get these sorts of remarks... i think all the writers are biased/xbox-fans..or are getting paid by microsoft...
ValiX was right... the total is actually more than $15000(according to the numbers provided)
