Put on your cowboy boots and have your guns at the ready. Red Dead Redemption, the sequel to Rockstar Games' third-person shooter, Red Dead Revolver, is riding into town this Fall.

Redemption promises an open-world environment dotted with all the trappings (and gunfights) you'd expect to find in the Wild West. The game will be available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Contrary to what the title may hint at, Revolver star Red Harlow won't be the main character in Redemption. Instead, the game follows former outlaw John Marston as he brings the law to the farthest reaches of the American frontier.

So much for this being one of the 3 exclusives, no matter, i'm still buying it, RDR FTW!

» Yeah

A lot of people said they didn't like the first one but I found it fun and entertaining. I also thought Gun was fun too but that one people didn't seem to fond of either.

» Was the first one fun?

I never had a chance to play it. It didn't SOUND like a good game but Rockstar usually impresses me. I might try this

» OMG

Just finished Gun and I was a bit disapointed it wasn't as good a RDR (and no multi player).

While RDR could have been better as well, I hope they get the job done on this one.
