Okay, so tornadoes go right, I jump left... or was it the other way around? - Image 1According to IGN, Sony will be holding a big press event next week - and there, Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction will make its public gameplay debut. So, because everyone loves a sneak peek, they've hit up Insomniac Games creative director Brian Allgeier some questions on what to expect.

For starters, expect something "relatively short." At least this demo, while still a work-in-progress, will feature some gameplay, a new weapon and gadget, and a new level, Kerchu City. Brian also talked about SIXAXIS functions in the game - for example (as revealed before), to guide tornadoes fired from the Tornado Launcher while trying to evade enemies at the same time.

Brian could say that the Insomniac team is "more than halfway done," but could not mention any possible estimates for a release date. He also says that the game will solely be a "massive" single-player adventure, going back to Ratchet's exploration-themed roots. On that he said that deciding to go single-player only was a question of focusing their energy. Brian isn't discounting the possibility of a future multiplayer add-on/expansion pack to Tools of Destruction, but he says it's "too early to tell," given that Insomniac does have about half a game to finish first.

Worse? Sheesh, the haters are here in just two comments.

Ratchet and Clank is an awesome series! Worse? Give me a break! When Ratchet and Clank came out for the PS2 did that hurt it's sales? Not in the least my friend. You officially have no idea what you're talking about?
