Question: Why is the PS3 bundled with Gears of War?

The answer: BIG, BIG SAVINGS!

Seriously though, we just learned about this funny little snafu over at Gameplay. What they actually want to sell is one of Sony's PS3s bundled with a copy of Resistance: Fall of Man and an HDMI cable. Someone made a mistake, however, and now your PS3 console seems to be bundled with Gears of War, complete with GoW screenshots.

Honest mistake, or really big oversight? We'll leave that up to you to decide. If you can though, send them a note that they're advertising the wrong game for their bundle, and they're also seemingly bundling a game meant for an entirely different console.

Idiots. Spy working for Microsoft? Dumb. Wishful thinking by PS3 owners? I think not. Truth be told both consoles have decent exclusives out now and on the way out in the future. Both side... face the truth, there will be very few REALLY GOOD exclusives. It just costs too much to make a game, sorry.

Just like trying to bundle a wii with gta 5 before

its even out (and not comfirmed for the console).

hmmm, it was probably a simple error made.

Gears of war on the PS3 is a posibility seeing as it may come out on PC some time down the future so whats not to say it won't come out on PS3, after all Epic has knowledge on how the PS3 works seeing as their making UT3 for the PS3 among other platforms, this is just a thought thats all.

It's published by Microsoft Games, it will never be released on PS3.



That's like hoping Motorstorm, Lair or some other SOE game will be ported to 360....not gonna happen.



MGS is a POSSIBILITY because it's published by Midway.

What happened to the good old days where console makers provided their loyal fans with a decent proportion of exclusive games that only came out for that system. I have an Xbox360 and i see no reason to drop 600$ on a PS3 if most of the same games are gonna be out on Xbox anyway. The graphics may be better on PS3 but personally i prefer good old fashioned game play over graphics. 600$ can get you 10 xbox360 games that i'm sure are equally as fun as their PS3 counterparts. the 'syndication' of game titles will surely put xbox in the lead in the console war as most people simply cannot afford 600$ for a playstation that will probably break in a few years anyway.
