Quartermann: LittleBigPlanet for PSP coming next year

LittleBigPlanet - Image 1EGM's resident rumormonger Quartermann is once again creating buzz, saying that LittleBigPlanet will be expanding to the PSP next year. He writes:

The LBP universe will also continue to evolve next year with the release of the PSP version: Q-Mann hears itÂ’s fantastically ambitious and will further flesh out the PS3 LBP experience.

Quartermann's rumors have often proven to be very, very right. But sometimes, also very, very wrong.

I'm leaning on very, very right on this one, just because I really want to see it happen. And besides, we already know that Media Molecule already sat down for a serious talk about a game expansion to the handheld; what we don't know is if they decided to push forward with it.

At any rate, take this rumor with a grain of salt, hope for the best, and move on. It's all rumor for now, anyway.

Dude that would be very awsome if they can pull that off for the PSP and come with a CD for the PC to make the lvl's for the PSP lbp version :)

If this is really true then great news. I think that LBP on the psp is possible.

I got this for the PS3 the day it came out and it's been a blast every time I've played it. If this comes to PSP then it'll be so awesome! I wonder what interaction the two games are going to have! Gimmie gimmie!

The premise of this game seems silly.

So, LBP is coming for PSP. Will PS3 players be able to link with PSP players and play together? Now that would be awesome.

Its fun watching someone play it but to play alongside would be the best.

Even remoteplay would be nice.

ridiculous. The psp version won't be able to handle the effects and physics possible on ps3...

It wont be the same, that's for sure. If they drasticly reduce the level sizes and create more static content then it should be ok.

I would absolutely love to see this game, considering I don't own a PS3. Sure the graphics won't be as great, but it's still going to be neat to carry it around in your pocket!
