Quantic Dream: There's still "a whole lot of work to be done" on Heavy Rain

As good as you might think Heavy Rain looks now, Quantic Dream's David Cage says that they're still a long way from finishing it up. In an interview with NowGamer, Cage revealed that the PS3 exclusive title is still in alpha and that there's still "a whole lot of work to be done".

“There’s so much fine-tuning in the game left to do. Everything has to be perfect. If there’s one thing wrong in a scene, it’s the only thing you’ll see. There are many things that don’t work right now," said Cage. "We need to have everything in place, from facial animations, to score to work out the final result.”

Looks like the 2010 release isn't too far-fetched right now, but it's good to hear that they're doing all they can to deliver a highly-polished product. It does make the waiting harder, though.

This is a good developer. They actually test their games, unlike most devs these days.

Why do developers have to announbce their games so early? It's such a tease being fed only bits and pieces of what looks like to be an amazing game and being made waiting for 2 years!

good for a game in alpha stage. This is looking to be one of my most anticipated games for next year.
