The next PixelJunk game has been given a name. Last month, Dylan Cuthbert of Q-Games launched a name-that-game contest based on the trailer of their new addition to the PixelJunk franchise. And now the winner has been chosen. It is now dubbed as PixelJunk Shooter.

For those of you who missed the trailer, heres the video so you'll see how the new name fits the game.

Cuthbert also revealed that E3 attendees will be treated to some demo-playing time, which will include, apart from those shown in the video, co-op play.

...

Looks like Thrust with some nice effects? But I always hated Thrust. If they have a demo I might give it a go but to be honest I haven't enjoyed any of the PixelJunk games so far.

Name?

They def should have picked a different one. too many ppl will judge this game solely on the name thinking its "just another shooter." even lava shooter or something along those lines would have been better lol
