Pure director says color in Xbox 360, PS3 versions "only as different as a good LCD TV is from a Plasma"

The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Black Rock and Disney's Pure (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) will only be "as different as a good LCD TV is from a Plasma". That's what Pure director Jason Avent told gaming website videogaming247.

Â“Their final render hardware seems to produce slightly different results in terms of how colours are represented and one is often softer than the other but itÂ’s really only as different as a good LCD TV is from a Plasma,Â” said Avent.

What he didn't say though was which one had the softer colors. In that vein, which is the good LCD TV and which is the Plasma? Well, we'll all just have to wait until Pure hits retail on September 23. The demo's already out for both PS3 and Xbox 360.

they're both both good it doesn't really matter... if one is good and the other bad then that's when it's a big deal...

but if both are ok then i don't see why there should be any issue at all.

i won't be getting the game though, i'll get my fill with motorstorm... i know i'll fill right at home when it comes out... but still Pure is looking to be fantastic but i'm restricting myself to 5 games this holiday season Motorstorm 2 (as i said earlier), Prince of Persia, Resistance 2, NBA2k9, and LBP... i might buy more (depends on the budget) but it probably won't be Pure cause i've got other games in mind higher up in the ladder.

Personally I will stick with Pacific Rift - Monster Trucks ftw!
