Street Fighter IV - Image 1The CES Street Fighter IV (PS3, 360) Showdown draws near and the competing publishers are making sure that they own at the epic battle. The three participating publishing giants, Microsoft, Sony, and Capcom are now picking 20 gamers to represent them, so do you want to be on their team?

If you want to sign up for Capcom's Community, led by Seth Killian, sign up here. You should receive a confirmation email if they got your application. Naturally, they can't take everyone so no hard feelings if you don't.

If you play Street Fighter IV on Xbox 360 and you want to support Microsoft, under the leadership of Major Nelson, learn more here. Likewise, if you own at the game with a PS3 controller, then you can signup for the Sony team, led by Jeff Rubenstein, by clicking on this link. You've gotta be 18 and above of course, and the 20 lucky reps may bring one guest of their choice.

This is gonna be a cross-platform event, so you can bet that everyone can play their A-game using their hardware of choice. Each night will feature a battle to pick a representative platform champion, and champs will win a Collector's Edition Street Fighter IV from Capcom (Sony and Microsoft will also be handing out prizes to the champs in their own ways) and the chance to battle with the other champs for the overall championship.

The battleground? Capcom's very fancy suite at Planet Hollywood in beautiful Las Vegas. Here's the community battle schedule:
  • Microsoft Comunity Battle: Thursday, January 8th, 7-9:30 PM
  • Sony Community Battle: Saturday, January 10th, 3-5:30 PM
  • Capcom Unity members are welcome on both nights
So click on those links and beat the living crap out of the opposition!
