PSN: Rainbow Six Vegas 2's online scene experiencing connection woes - Image 1Having trouble trying to stay in Rainbow Six Vegas 2's (PS3, Xbox 360 online scene on the PS3's PlayStation Network? Apparently, you're not the only one with connections woes.

Word on the street is that RSV2's players have been experiencing  connection issues and severe lag since last week.

No other details are available regarding the cause of this problem, although it seems to be limited to just the game. RSV2's players indicate that the rest of the PSN appears to be running normally.

Ubisoft has yet to comment on the matter, though given the level of concern this issue's generating among the gamers, it's probably just a matter of time. Here's to hoping the devs will be updating with some sort of report (or even a patch) in the near future - we'll let you know when that happens.

qj qj qj??? why has it taken so long for this post to come about, this issue has been there since the get go, i was even considering posting about it in another thread. this issue was in the first game, also in graw2, now in r6v2, so ***** ubisoft if they cant even pull their fingers out of their arses and fix a problem that has always been there before they charge people for a £40 game that hasnt got an online mode as far as i can see!!!! i think i will be giving the ever delayed a haze a big old *****in wide birth as well!!! i hope that this kind of constant error on ubi's behalf causes the mass return of these games sends ubi*****e into bankruptcy. forward your ports? forward yourself off a *****in cliff!!!!!

It has taken them time but maybe it's purely because they have only just got word of it from members of the community, either way yes it is an issue and there has been nothing from Ubisoft, if they don't do something soon I'm considering taking it to the UK Trading Standards and informing major newspapers to get coverage on it since we had problems in Vegas 1 and nothing was ever done. I think it might sound silly but I and whoever else decides to or want's to has good reason, the game has been released below sub-standards and we are being kept in the dark, if you look at the money you have spent on this game, do you really think you got your worth? No I didn't think so.

Rainbow Six vegas online wasnt nearly as bad as this. RB6V i was at least able to join games and enjoy it as well. The frame rate and visuals were what killed RV6V for me. For RB6V2 i can connect to 1 out of every 30-40 servers. Once i went through every single server listed and got "The server is full" "unable to connect to server". If not fixed in the next 10 days I'm selling it.

why should you have to sell it??? it's disgusting, that you will maybe get a third of your money back on a product that was ***** when you bought it. i like mentality's idea!!!

Thanks

Other people need to be doing the same thing, it can't just be me, they aint going to listen to one person. I'm gonna do it no matter what, but I need people behind me. I urge people to do the same, given one week if nothing is done or said public about a fix get in touch with trading standards in your area and make the complaint. It aint hard, if your like me and you don't simply want your money back you want a fix then you have to do this. Game companies and developers alike need to start listening to us.
