PSM3: Syphon Filter for the PS3, Resistance 2 confirmed?

Could this be true? There were already recent reports about a new Resistance: Fall of Man title already in development (in pre-Alpha stage, no less), and magazine PSM3 now "confirmed" the existence of the Resistance sequel. Rumors also mentioned that Insomniac Games intends to release the game in the later part of next year.

Another juicy tidbit that was mentioned in the latest issue of PSM3 is the next-gen debut of Sony Bend's Syphon Filter, with it's release date pinned somewhere in 2009 for the PlayStation 3.

However, a tipster who happened to be in contact with one of the developers from Sony Bend said that reports of a PS3 Syphon Filter is simply not true. Of course, since it's a gaming industry trend to deny things and then confirm them later on, we still can't say for sure whether or not there will be indeed be a Syphon Filter for the PS3. More updates as we get them!

I find it very funny when im reading the newest issue of Maxim magazine and I notice an ad for a game. That game is resistance. Dont you find it wierd that this game is still being advertised? Seems that Fony has nothing new to bring to the table worth advertising. Poor Fony Farmboys. Oh, and resistance was a game with last gen gameplay, and brought nothing new to the table. Same old rehash of typical fps repeats. Now there is word of another resistance? Ohh, how can I resist...

You can sit here and Bash All you want... you can go back to playing Halo, Gears of War, and whatever else first person shooter you want. Resistance was and still is a fun game. Have you even played a PS3? prolly not... i bet you can't even afford one...

Resistance is an awesome game and it brought good stuff to the table Gears and Halo did nothing. Halo 3 bombed and thats fact.

Just Wait for MGS4, Killzone2 UT3 which you xbots won't get for year, and haze it will wipe the floor and shut your face up for good. If you don't own a PS3 and never played any games why are you here go back to cave you crawled out from and play your Xdead360, since your here im assuming your system is either dead from way to many RRoD or there aren't good games available.
