PS3 Weekend Warrior: mine's bigger than yours, catching some hangtime, and a curtain close |
Ó

With the turn of the week, we arrive at the next PS3 Warrior. The Sony empire is growing, and it doesn't show any signs of stopping. Whether you're ready to catch the next big wave or not, consider yourself carried away already.
Dude, surf's up!
Waves, ripples, wipeouts:
- How big is the Sony empire? Yeah man, they're everywhere. Especially when you're talking internal first-party developers, Sony's just as big as MS and Ninty... combined! Comparing sizes, are we? Well, you know what they say... it's not the size of the surf board, it's how you use it! Link.
- Across the ocean, the PS3's already making some BIG AIR hangtime - it's finally surpassed Wii hardware sales in Japan for the month of March. Whether or not that's market saturation, it's still quite a feat. Link.
- Speaking of sales, it looks like the Call of Duty franchise is really trying to pump some oomph into their game. They're aiming to make Modern Warfare 2 sooooo huge, they might be a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment biz. Link.
- ...aaand if you're talking entertainment, that includes movies too - which, by the way, will see some big figures eventually. Sony Pictures is said to cash their cow with a Shadow of the Colossus movie! Link.
- Killzone 2
- Uncharted 2
- Paint me a picture! Link.
- Assassin's Creed 2
- BioShock 2
- "Sea of Dreams" subtitle is really, officially, terminally sunk. Link.
- Big Sisters in Little Trailer. Link.
- Resident Evil 5
- Final Fantasy XIII
- 720p on 30fps? Yeap, better believe it! Link.
- And from the washing machine:
