Trion - Image 1 Video game publisher Trion has added the Sony PlayStation 3 to the list of systems that will host its latest project. The company has announced that it has acquired the license to publish a fantasy-themed online RPG on the platform recently.

The game, which hasn't been named yet, has been announced earlier to be in development for the Microsoft Xbox 360 and the PC. Might & Magic franchise creator Jon Van Caneghem is the mind powering the concepts behind this effort.

"This game is designed on the philosophy of putting players at the centre of the game world," said Van Coughen. "By building an extensive event system and a server architecture that allows for dynamic change, we are creating completely new opportunities for creative game design."

He adds "the game will live and change along with the players, evolving in response to their actions and the creativity of our design team."

Trion will publish its upcoming game for North America and Europe. The company os still in the process of choosing a partner who will bring the game to Asia.

» why is this in the ps3 section

It's said x360 and pc, not ps3, so why post it there? And what is an online RPG, he meant an MMORPG I suppose?

ROSE Ragnarok and RF would have earned a lot if not for your lazy hard headed people.

and hey wake up to the devs of Angel Love Online (or without the LOVE, the name keeps changing) Where is the mmorp game you promised to release way back december 2007?

ps3 users are hungry for mmorpgs, why dont you devs realize that? wimpy online add ons for single player games doesnt cut it!
