PS3 to debut in Singapore for US$ 508 |

It was just earlier when we shared with you that the PS3 will be arriving in Greece with a higher price tag. To somewhat counteract that rather disappointing development, here's something that can brighten the day of our Singapore-based readers.Sony finally remarked that it will be bringing the new console to Singapore this coming March 7. Prior to this, most PS3 units in Singapore were coming from Hong Kong.
The interesting part here is that the 60GB console will be debuting with a price tag of S$ 799 or roughly around US$ 508. Also, it was reported that pre-orders in selected local game retailers have already begun today.
We're not quite familiar with the Republic's system but our source mentioned that fans can actually dial 800-852-3663 to secure their orders. There's no word regarding the 20GB version. Lastly, Singapore will get 10 games at day one.

Wow, sony is loosing like what? $350+ on the 60GB ps3 in singapore?
This is absolute good news for Singaporeans :)
Does anyone have any idea what the Singaporean PS3's PS1/2 region is? I only play imported Japanese games and will *****ing CRY if the Singaporean PS3's region is China or something.
thats really cheap compared to other places in the world. o wait...damn...its still too darn expensive.
