PS3 promo at Target: free extra DualShock 3 controller with 80GB PS3

OK, so there's no PS3 price cut. Be that as it may, there are still retailers holding promos for Sony's big black machine. Reader Ptspyder just sent us word that Target is giving away a free DualShock 3 controller for every purchase of an 80GB PS3. That means you get two controllers with the 80GB console, which is still priced at US$ 399 by the way.

It looks like the promo's for this week only, so if you're in the market for a PS3 you may want to drop by your local Target and see if they're having the promo in your area.

it's almost a price cut. i mean, you're technically getting 50-60 dollars off but instead of money, you're getting a controller. i'm sure most people don't mind getting a second controller

That's pretty good. I haven't got any Dual Shock 3's yet cos they're quite expensive on my current income just to get new joypads that rumble when my regular two Sixaxis ones work fine for now. When back at work I'll definitely grab a couple of DS3's though. I do miss the rumble feature.
