PS3 Netflix service gets a search option

We're still waiting for Netflix to go disc-less, but in the meantime, the service providers have delivered on the UI improvements like they promised. To make content finding much easier, Netflix has added a quick search option to help you out.

This option has yet to reach the Wii, while the Xbox 360 will get it by November.

I've had the search option since I got it four months ago yet two friends of mine didn't have it until a couple of weeks ago. Didn't even realize it wasn't an option for most people....

When we first got the netflix for ps3, there was already a search option... then as if by magic, one day it was not there... we questioned if we had merely thought we had used a search option, or if there was indeed one at all... now a month later, Netflix announces that they will make a search option available? Gee, thanks netflix, a search option would be a great idea!

i dont know what would have prevented them from including the search in the original release for all three systems. i mean all three systems utilize a keyboard either onscreen or via usb-keyboard.
