Was sony pwned in this video ? YES
Why? because it shows us that sony is a stubborn child who, once scorned will act like a little brat towards a company
they did it with nintendo and they will now do it with the company that originally made the vibration tech.
its not that it messes up the controller.. they just dont wanna side with companys that basicly 1uped them
prove me wrong.

And sony is a B!tch for not putting vibration in.

We all know interference caused by the rumble isnt true, so why dont developers make games that would support the original controllers and third party controllers with the rumble feature. I think its logitech that have the license to use the force feedback so they could make a motion sensor, vibratoring gizmo thingy for the ps3

And I wont use it tho, lol. But PS3 controller is more then that it can be wireless like already controllers I know. But stll that how it suppose to be done so there.
And they changed the r2 and l2 buttions makeing them bigger. And they did other stuff to the controller to make it better.
And by the way this is the first time Sony made the main controller for the next PS to have the motion and tlit in it.
And dont worry I think there gonna add the rumbler as well. Just wait for tgs for that.

At first I though the wii was the best thing since sliced bread but the more I think of it the more I disagree.
I think that just like light guns and steering wheels that once the buzz wears off people arent going to be so keen. Playing for like 15/30mins is going to leave your arms very very tired.
But the wireless contol could have sommit to do with motion control but I think its all bull.

I don't think Sony would take out vibration or bring it in at a later time... Immersion want's Sony's support but Sony won't give it to them.. so like articles before, Revenue's for Immersion are going to decline something major. Think about it... 100million plus DS2 controller's using their technology .... how much revenue is that for the company if Sony goes through with the deal? Alot...
So really... Sony has nothing to lose - I don't use Vibration on my wireless 360 controllers... there's no point... I'm too distracted playing the games then wondering if my hands are vibrating...
If Sony add's vibration in the controller.. then good, but if not... it's not the end of the world... the Playstation 3 library of games can compensate for lack of novelty vibration.

They certainly however did not copy Nintendo. CSony patented a motion sensing controller back in like 1999 or so.

Still the new PS3 controller is quite an improvement over the Dualshock 2 (thank god there are triggers now + slightly elevated joysticks), and I dont think rumble is much of a concern. I play mostley PC games, and 100% rumble isnt a problem, its a benifit, no fumblimg when im going for an awp shot in CS.
Still rumble is somthing that is considered in every new console, so sony should just settle this crap n` go for some gyro rumble tech.
And can those damn nintendo, Xbox fanboys pipe down. Sony didnt 'rip off' nintendo, the gyro tech is alot different to the wii's motion sensor (which mind you can go ape if you move the controller out of the sensors range!).
All sony has done is utilised technology that has been out there for years.... Sony may be the barstard corporation, but they do listen to their users (hence the Batrang :P), and do make good quality prouducts
Im no Sony fanboy, and I do like Nintendo n` Xbox, but there is a serious amount of flak floating round round the net nowdays about the 'next gen' consoles. I think i`ll stick with PC's as my 1st preference

Tilt is useless, very nice and novel idea, but for most gamers, too much of a bother....especially as a steering wheel, as you have to hold it out in front of you in a precise method and rotate it, making sure not to tilt it forward or back....very strenuous to say the least.....gimme a real steering wheel that I can rest my hands and let the wheel support me, not the other way around....

Just look at motorstorms "real time demo" Last year, in comparison to this years real time demo. Hahaha
Thank god sony has so many die hard fans, blind to the fact that have and are getting lied to. Becasue if they dont solve these issues with immersion, then the ps2 will get pulled from the shelves since it contains immersions technology. And sony still needs the ps2 to cover losses (200 rumored per console) of the ps3.

Another rumor I heard is that they don't want to pay license money for the rumble technology, as it's not Sony's technology to begin with.
