PS3 motion controller to be introduced at GDC

It looks like we'll finally get to see more of Sony's PS3 motion controller next month. A session called "Introducing the PlayStation 3 Motion Controller" has been confirmed for GDC 2010.

The hour-long session will take place on March 11, 2010 from 3:00 PM PST until 4:00 PM PST. SCEA's David Coombes and Kirk Bender will be handling the session.

The PS3 motion controller, which currently goes under the codename 'Arc', is tracking a Fall 2010 release.

Did anyone else notice that the damn this looks like a freaking dildo? Honestly, who wants to swing that thing around. Leave that crap the Wii, for god sakes, Sony. With the vibration feature and the top for good anchoring, I bet they can come up with some great mini games for women.

Lol, they probably had the issue of 'How to make the controllow intuitive' during the design phase..

With that design, any man can pick it up and use it

At least the Wiimote is rectangular and looks alright on a store shelf, but this thing belongs in a sex shop, i guess it could bring a new type of online multiplayer (orgy) gaming to Ps3.

for those that think the "Arc" will look exactly like the prototype are morons. IT WAS A PROTOTYPE. They didn't care how it looked. They were simply tasked with making it work. They can take the technology and put it into any case. There was no need to spend millions on a device that didn't work. So they got it working, and now are doing the aesthetics.

Not only it's much better than the fugly wii motion controller, in fact wii's with the cap on, seems much more like a dildo, (but I guess you must be the same ones that diss the PS3 look), AND we have something to hold on to...Not everybodyX can say that...

But if you're really thinking that, maybe you can find other uses for it...

It's easy to say this is just a prototype but Sony has a history of not listening to what people want and making bad decisions, in their mind they think they can make something and tell them that they want it.
